五月な・・

どうも！

もう五月かな・・
もうすぐ夏ね。

ゴールデンウィークは楽しかった。
友達はオーストラリアから日本に来た！
彼らはツアーで日本のあちこちを旅行して回った。
ツアーの後で，東京に合った。

みんなは大学の友人から，すごい懐かしい感じ。

夏休みでオーストラリアに帰ります。
楽しみに～～～

It's already May.

Golden Week was lots of fun.
My friends from Australia came to Japan.
They went on a tour around Japan.
After the tour, we met up in Tokyo.

They're all friends from uni, so it was a really nostalgic feeling.

During summer break I'm going back to Australia.
I can't wait o(^-^)o

２週間前、引っ越ししました！

疲れたよ～

新しいアパートは・・新しい！
２００９年に建てられた。
新しいし、きれいだし、インターネットもあるし、家具つきだし、そのアパートはいろいろと便利です。
すこし高いかもしれませんが、それだけの値うちはあると思います。
アパートの駐車場から富士山が見えるよ！

明日から、英語の授業を始めます。
少し緊張する・・
でも、自己紹介とオーストラリアの紹介だけですから、
「しんぱいない！」と思いたい

Hey!
It's been two weeks since I moved~
Guhhh I'm tired.

My new apartment is... NEW! It was built in 2009 lol. It's new, clean, it's got internet, its furnished, and it's convenient
It's a little expensive but I think it's worth it.
I can also see Mt Fuji from my apartment car park!

Tomorrow I start English lessons.
I'm a little anxious..... but since it's only my self-introduction and introducing Australia, I'd like to think that I shouldn't worry

面白い

Today was the last day at one of my schools. I only had one class, but I studied together with the 5th grade for other subjects.

During break I studied a little Japanese, and my kids helped me. But I was stuck on one problem :/

「彼はユーモアがあります。」

Ehh? "Yuumoa"? What's that supposed to mean?

I asked the children. One student said it means "interesting things". Another student said it means "you more".

Eh.. I don't get it.
"You... more..."
THAT'S KINDA WEIRD LOL

So after school I looked it up in the dictionary.

Yuumoa = HUMOR!!!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......!! So THAT'S what it means!

今日は私の学校のひとつが終業の日。授業が1つだけあったけれど、他の教科の授業を５年生と一緒に勉強しました。

休み時間に少し日本語を勉強したが、子供達が手伝ってくれた。でも・・ある問題にぶつかった。


「彼はユーモアがあります。」

... えぇ？？「ユーモア」？？？
どういう意味？

子供達にたずねた。生徒の一人が、「おもしろいことだよ」と言いました。別の生徒が、「You more」と言いました。

えぇ・・わからない；；
「あなた・・もっと」？？
変なのー！

放課後に、辞書でその言葉を調べた。

ユーモア = humor!

あぁぁぁぁぁぁぁ！！そういうことですか？？
