Wise Won The National Gold Medal
As the United States in the 20th century, the greatest master of realist painting, Andrew Wyeth has a high reputation in the arts community both inside and outside of the United States. His life at ease living in the small town of Pennsylvania, focused on depicting ordinary people and things around.
In 1963, Wise became the first Medal of Freedom in Philadelphia painter; 1990, became the first living artist selected for the Royal Academy, the first selected surviving American artists of the French Academy of Fine Arts; 1998, the Congressional Gold Medal.
Art in Philadelphia in 2006 Stadium Wise retrospective in 16 weeks, attracted 17.5 million viewers; 2007, Wise won the national gold medal.
