Today was the fashion show for Tokyo Fashion Festa at FIT in NYC. Yesterday was reha, both days were very long, but very fun.
Waiting backstage for the show to start. My hair is so weird, but it was fun. All the Putomayo models had the same hair. I called it cotton candy hair because one the poofs on my head was pink. But the hair pins were sticking into my head the whole night. None of the hair is mine, each is individual pieces. even the bangs are fake, but they were so cool.

We spent alot of time waiting for the runway part of the show. Our friend Toshi was dressed as Kisaki from Phantasmagoria, wearing his actual costume worth ￥１、０００、０００ (((( ;°Д°))))
After the runway, we couldn't change out of our outfits because we had to wait for the reception for more people to take photos of us and talk to us. People took a lot of photos of us during the reception. So while we waited, we took more pictures.
Youkoちゃん was a white gothic "bride." She was so funny, when she got her outfit, at first she hated it and was so unhappy, but with full hair and make-up and the corset pulled tight, she really started to love it. I thought she was so beautiful.
My full outfit was from Putomayo. I can't wait to get back photos from the runway show! So excited XD
My clothes were very comfortable.
For the show, I was asked to bring shoes for 2 or 3 other models, because they didn't have any shoes that matched their style. lol
After the reception was over and we changed out of our clothes and gave them back, we got gift bags from one of the sponsors, Fiberwig, a mascara brand. They came with a good tote bag, a T-shirt, a make-up and and a full sized tube of Fiberwig mascara! which I was very excited about. I really like the brand but it's so expensive ($24 for 1 tube) I saw it and told all the other models who also got very excited about it.
After the show, me, 3 other models, and a photographer went to dinner, and then I had to take Youko to her bus home (ﾉ_･｡) So sad, I miss her already. We always have a great time together, but she lives so far away, I never get to see her enough.
Ok, I am very tired, It is 4:30am in NYC and I need sleep.

I am getting a cold. I thought I might have been feeling it coming, so I was drinking Power-C Vitamin Water, but tonight, I really feel it. Sniffles....
I hate Valentine's Day. I am single. I can't eat chocolate. And my parents are Florists, so I have always had to work on Valentine's Day from when I was a little kid. Now I work in a restaurant, so if I don't work for my parents, I work at the place where everyone else is.
So after taking extra care of my skin and teeth for the last weeks, I am getting sick so it won't matter. But I know the trick! I take Zicam. It's natural medicine that is Zinc and vitamin C. I take it as soon as I feel like I might be getting sick and I never get really sick. I started taking it tonight and I will take it all day for the next 2-3 days and I won't be sick at all. And maybe I will go get some Pocari Sweat.
I wish I could go to the gym tomorrow and just sweat it out, but I don't have any time. I have classes and I have to go to the salon to get ready for the show and I have alot of homework to do. And I'm still trying to book a show. I have contacted over 30 venues, and everywhere is either booked or has not responded. so frustrating!
So tomoro, I will go to school and the salon and take my medicine and do lots of homework. Then I will sleep alot!
