Exactly a year ago, Grandpa passed away.
あの次の日の月曜日はマーチン・ルター・キングの祝日だったり、毎年この時期はコロラドに行く主人が居てくれたお陰で空港に辿り着けたりと色んなシンクロニシティが重なってお葬式に間に合う様に帰ることが出来ました。
The following day was MLK Monday, and my hubby, who would normally be in Colorado around this time of year, happen to be here to take me to the airport. All sorts of synchronicity made it possible for me to be at Grandpa's funeral.

I'm going to create a tradition to take a meditation walk on the third Monday in January to commemorate the miraculous 3 weeks of that winter in Japan with much gratitude and awe.
