Shunbun no hi = the Vernal Equinox Day

My teacher suddenly said "Today is the first day of spring. Why don't you balance an egg?". I felt pity for him because I thought he might become mentally ill with this turn of weather. Actually, he was talking about the gravity. According to his wife, the gravity operates very vertically today, and it is easier to balance an egg.
