For those with a combination of oily skin, managing shine throughout the day can be a challenge. In this late-night update, I'll share my experience after 8 hours of wearing makeup, using Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear foundation, Hourglass concealer for brightening, and Laura Mercier loose powder for setting.

Oiliness and Patchiness Reflecting Reality

As the night unfolds, my T-zone, especially the forehead and nose, has shown signs of oiliness. Despite the use of Hourglass concealer for under eyes, nose bridge, and lip area, there is still a tendency for the makeup to clump and appear patchy in those areas.

Notes:

Clumping and Patchiness: The concealed areas exhibit some clumping and patchiness, especially around the nose and lip perimeter.

Realistic Representation: The oiliness and patchiness captured in the photos offer a realistic portrayal of the skin's natural response to makeup wear over an extended period.

Conclusion:

Navigating the challenges of oily skin requires strategic product choices and potential touch-ups throughout the day. Despite some clumping and patchiness in the concealed areas, the makeup has endured without additional oiliness or the need for powder touch-ups. These observations underscore the importance of understanding and managing the unique needs of oily skin to achieve a long-lasting and natural-looking makeup finish.
