Have you noticed that your EL learner comprehends English well, but can not express themselves when answering open-ended questions?

Maybe you have grown tired of the same WH-questions and need some fresh ideas to for your warm-ups.

Your learner will get loads of practice expressing themselves in complete sentences with these  Restate the Question Speaking Cards.

Most of these questions were pulled from a great Parent.com article "63 Fun Questions To Get Your Kid Talking." By Erinne Magee.

Each card asks a question that will target your learners' imagination and give them something to think about.

It's great practice to build their speaking skills.

My favorite activity is to split the class up into teams and have them hit a bell to answer the question.

The team who makes the longest, sensible sentences gets the most points.

Another great thing about this printable is that it's FREE! Get it here.
