I was impressed by the weight sale!
because
I have a baby and my consciousness has changed!
Because it has changed!
Kids are a great treasure!
I went shopping with a tapper at a local supermarket!
I negotiated with the store manager and asked the tapper to put meat and fish in it!
I was making EM vegetables at home!
My grandmother was washing without dishwashing liquid!
That style is now commonplace
The world is changing!
I through this movie
Furthermore, I decided to change my consciousness and live.
for that now what we can do
Through this movie
Tell everyone in the world Let's revive the earth together!

After watching "Zero Waste PLUS" with English subtitles...
The issue of micro-plastics is now being discussed in various media, and many of the images
that we see give us a sense that it is so hopeless that we don't know what to do anymore, and
make us think that the world will not change anyway, even if we are the only ones doing it.
In such a situation, director Shiratori's "Zero Waste PLUS" shows that no matter how great the
despair, we can create a hope greater than that! I believe that this is a work in which we can
see the hope of the future.
It is a realistic hope that we can take small steps forward in our own lives, even if it does not
mean doing something big.
Food is also very important to me. I decided to stop eating meat 40 years ago because of
environmental issues. Since then, I have been trying to choose organic food and reduce
garbage as much as possible, but it also made me realize that I was still not conscious enough.
Immediately after watching the film, I went to an organic supermarket and changed the
sponges I use in the kitchen to loofah and plant-based products.
In the U.S., many vegetables, nuts, and other items are sold by weight in regular supermarkets,
but I thought it was not much different from being packed, since there are plastic bags to put
vegetables next to them.
I used to bring not only shopping bags, but also bags to put vegetables by weight, but since
they no longer accept bags that I brought with me due to the pandemic, I have been using the
plastic bags they have set up. Now that I am allowed to bring my own bags again, I am aware
once again that I should use my own bags when I buy things that are sold by weight.
I believe that the use of EM and the invention of Earth Cube will play a major role in creating a
sustainable world in the future. I hope that many people in the U.S., a major consumer nation,
will see this film and learn about it.
Since ancient times, the Japanese people have always loved nature and enjoyed the seasonal
customs. We are a people who have savored and appreciated the way that all life, not just
human beings, are kept alive in the cosmic cycle.
And for a long time, the Japanese have not been meat eaters. Now the meat and dairy industry
treats life as an object and puts pressure on the world's environment. 70% of the farmland in
the U.S. is for cattle ranching. The rest is for growing plants for use in industry, cosmetics, etc.
Only 1% of farmland is used for vegetables.
At the World Conference on Environmental Problems, it has been stated that one of the things
we can do to prevent global warming is to reduce meat consumption as much as possible.
Eating dairy products and meat is not the original way of being Japanese. I also wanted to
share again why I choose to live a vegan lifestyle, along with the plastic and garbage issues.
I think this is applicable to all of Shiratori's films, but at the core, I feel the director's spirit of Wa
(Japanese harmony).
We Japanese are a people of "wa" culture, who have always loved harmony in all aspects of
life, from people to people, and people to nature. Herein lies the meaning of turning on the
genes of Japanese people, who can sense the wabi and sabi of nature, and transmitting them
from Japan to the world now.
