produced his films, and he is working hard as part of the
Earth Revival Project to share those films and spread
that vision to as many people as possible.

Director Tetsu Shiratori's films, which are released as
works under the "Earth Revival Project," were completed
with the help of many people.
|
This time, we are producing the French and German
versions of "Revival" (2015) and "Revival II"
(2019) to share these films with the world. These films
depict humanity's way of life, in which we protect and
cultivate this world through living a balanced lifestyle
alongside microorganisms, which support us from the
base of our ecosystem.

| Hello. I'm Tetsu Shiratori. |
|
|
In April and May, when going outside was difficult due to
the novel coronavirus, we digitally released all seven
films that had been released in theaters, giving access to
not only those in Japan but all over the world.
|
We received an incredibly large response, and I thought,
"We must share our message with the world." I could
feel how important this duty was.
|
The movie "Revival" (2015) is a film that highlights microorganisms and also touches on the Fukushima
nuclear disaster. |
|
|
It has been translated into English, German, Russian, Thai, Spanish, and Chinese. But in response to strong
requests for a French version, we have decided to
produce French subtitles for it, as well as for "Revival II".
|
Also, without expecting any compensation, we have
begun working on the German version of "Revival II",
which shows us people who continue to work
with microorganisms. This is because Germany had the
highest number of viewers for SOSEI: Revival.
Those in Germany are leaders in global environmental
affairs, and we also expect the French to become an
important gateway to distant countries in Africa and
Europe. |

When we look at the world and all of humanity, we
believe that providing multiple languages is imperative,
and that delivering these films to France and Germany
can change the world.
