My birthday is ON Halloween and as far back as I can remember I've always had a Halloween/birthday party, where we all dressed up and cake and ice cream, then went trickortreating. It was especially fun as a child because what child doesn't love dressing up anyway and to have a lot of friends, cake, presents, and trickortreating along with it just makes the day awesome! Now that I am older (I will be 27 on Halloween this year) and have my own child to join in on the fun, it couldn't be better!I always thought it would be really fun to have a huge party, on Halloween, but then everyone is trickortreating. So we have her party the weekend after her birthday (but we still have a Halloween theme plus another one if she wants, like Curious George.)
There are days that people are more conscious about their how they dress for various theme parties. No wonder that there was a significant increase in the number of costume shops costume in a very short period of time. The trend to buy fancy costumes from the high street has to be moved online stores. When it comes to the ladies suits, there is no shortage of varieties, styles, mixnmatch colors and other fancy dress accessories.
Is there anything more fun for kids than playing dress up? It seems a joy kids are simply born with starting with playing grownup with Mom's and Dad's clothes and shoes, making superhero capes out of bath towels, and painting Joker faces on themselves with Mom's lipstick. It's what makes Halloween the most fun day of the year something most of us never grow out of for those adults willing to admit it. Wearing a costume lets us experience life with a new perspective for a while and for kids to try on new personas as their personalities develop. It's creativity at its best and most fun.
