Even when some children suffered advanced levels of radiation sickness, spirulina was responsible for many areas of health restoration. Based on the Institute of Radiation Medicine in Minsk, the Belarus Ministry of Health concluded that spirulina accelerates the evacuation of radionuclides from the human body.
