We昨日、イチゴのショートケーキを作りました。
I made a Japanese strawberry shortcake yesterday.
まずはスポンジケーキを三等分しました。
First, I cut my sponge cake into three even slices.
最下層にシロップをたっぷり塗ってから生クリームを塗りました。
I wet the bottom layer with a generous amount of syrup, and then spread whipped cream over it.
その上にスライスしたイチゴを載せて、表面を生クリームで平らにしました。
I placed sliced strawberries on top and smoothed the surface with more whipped cream.
2枚目のスポンジケーキも同じ手順を繰り返した後で、最後のスライスを上に載せてケーキ全体に生クリームを塗りました。
I repeated the same steps for the second slice of the sponge cake, and then placed the last slice on top and covered the whole cake with whipped cream.
途中で生クリームが足りなくなって、スポンジが所々透けて見えてます。。
As I ran out of the cream halfway through this step, the sponge was visible here and there...
最後にイチゴを飾って出来上がり！
Finally, I decorated my cake with whole strawberries to finish!
