Solange Wilvert, 1.78 m, sixteen years, is becoming known, she reached the top of the career in just two years. The new top model in the worls of fashion has left the rural area of Florianópolis to conquer the world. Even being young, the girl of Santa Catarina had already shown maturity and attitude. These characteristics also influenced Francisco Costa, director of Calvin Klein, and now, she became his favorite.





The model is daughter of a farmer. Today, Solange is living the Cinderella's moment and she divides her time between NY, Paris and Milan.

Solange was discovered at the beginning of 2004 at her public scholl in Florianopolis, Brasil. She was only 15 years old at the time, but in only four weeks she landed a contract in New York City.



Her photos were sent to international agencies, which were very interestes in her. In less than four weeks, the model went to New York, where she took Costa's attention and walked exclusively for brand Calvin Klein. The lady of Santa Catarina, is typically what is called a "ready model". Without any experience, she learned how to walk adequately watching some models on TV shows.




Solange Wilvert works with the French Vougue. Until now, she had no problems with English because Solange has always been a good English student. Taking the first year of high school, Solange studies at night in her apartment, and with the schoool helping her, she doesn't lose the year.



More than all these dream, Solange was the face of Chanel, Calvin Klein, Fendi, Gucci, Stella McCartney, and others. She was on the cover of Stiletto, Vogue (3 times), and Wonderland too.

Francisco Costa (born in 1961) is the creative director of Calvin Klein Collection. He is also the winner of the Council of Fashion Designers America awad for best womenswear designer in March 2006 and in June 2008. His clothes are lighter and more feminine than those marketed by Calvin Klein before.

Costa became the principal designer for Calvin Klein at the age of 42, in September 2003. Earlier, Klein sold his company to Phillips - Van Heusen for approximately $730 million.

Costa joined the Klein design group in 2001 affter working for Gucci, where ha was an assistant to Tom Ford. Their first collaboration is known as the Cher Collection.
