What is bullying?
We consider a bullying problem of Japan.
Bullying is "corporal, mental, and, troubling the thing weaker than oneself in position on a target on the other hand by violence, discrimination, harassment, etc."
At the elementary school, window-shopping and the rate to alienate are high and suicide has also taken place owing to bullying.
In a junior high school, bullying is an age which increases most.
Bullying of 17,063 cases occurs only by the first-year student in a junior high school, and this number has increased 4 or more times compared with the sixth grader in an elementary school (4,262 cases ), or the tenth grade student (3,701 cases ).
It is the present conditions that so much bullying happens.
The present condition of bullying in Japan
The number of 84,648 cases (40.0%) and bullying per 1000 students of the number of the schools which checked bullying was 7.1 in Heisei 19.
In suicide of the school student who occurred by the end of December, 2013 from June, 2011 in investigation of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the percentage for reasons of bullying is about 2%.
Three bullying of what is the cause has decreased beginning in the 18 fiscal year in three affairs among 136 children who committed suicide in the further Heisei 19 fiscal year.
When it sees according to all prefectures, Kumamoto Prefecture (32.7 cases ) from more ones, Oita Prefecture (27.3 cases ), and Gifu Prefecture (25.2 cases ) have many bullying per 1000 persons, and it exceeds the national average (7.1 cases ) 3 or more times.
The solution to bullying
It is a very dangerous action to be going to do solution to bullying in individuals.
Bullying is a difficult problem which an adult and a teacher have to cooperate and must be solved.
Of course, although it may be alone solvable, since bullying may become serious, it is good to tease in cooperation with adults and to tackle a problem.
The child on whom it is hard also has very wonderful individuality, and it has value.
I will think that it is a chance to pull out the value, and will tackle solution among families.
