when i was skyping w/ my japanese mum,
host bro's Gf knocked my door and told me to make some sushi roll!!
how amaiging idea it was!
i was so happy they come to be interested in japanese culture lil by lil.
before making, i wanted mum to see host bro w/ skype
so finally host bro and host mum could see and had a lil conversation w/ my japanese mum!!
i guess it was first time mum chatted w/ my host family although weve already kept in touch each othere for 10 years.
but at that time, i couldnt translate what my japanese mum said to English well to my host mum...
what the hell how i improve my eng skill!!
well,anyway
i stopped talking w/ my mum and came in the kichen^^
but i had a problem....actually i hardly make a sushi roll before.hehe
so i cheated how to do it on you tube before coming and behaved i really know the way to make it.lol
i also had a trouble it was...they didnt now how to make a boiled rice!!!
how come???? even they had a rice cooker...
i really wanted to try to make a steamed rice but the rice cooker was a lil different way to cook from japan and here.
so first i just left it to them. however rice was still uncooked. we could find hard rice.
now i gave him my advice which was you need more water than first one.
at last we could get better rice and made a sushi roll thank to my act like i know how to make it.lol
after that we fold ORIGAMI
and host sis brought the one which she made when i came here for first time. it was 10years ago.
she still kept them!! how awesome!! i am soooo glad to see it><
well i have some more wanna tell you guys
but it seems i gonna need to sleep><
