General Position Summary

This position is to help us to newly develop a market of Textile/Fabric and Garment as well as textile products in the North America acquiring new customers under sales budget. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management. 

 

 

Essential Job Functions   

As Sales Manager: 

    Responsible for selling products to North America clients.

    Maximize sales promoting new products to existing clients and acquiring new clients to expand overall sales. 

    Handle the entire sales process from presentation of our product to clients up to deliveries providing customer service in professional manner.

    Travel within North America foe sales and customer service and China and Asia for understanding products and settling outstanding issue with suppliers when needed.

    Negotiate and conclude sales contracts with fixing clients for price, delivery date and payment issue etc.

    Communicate with affiliate offices and mills in Asia daily basis in order to confirm orders and to accomplish orders as well as to solve problems meeting clients’ requirement. 

    Responsible to set up semester budget and report its progress with numbers to supervisor and management in writing monthly basis.

 

Administrative Support                                                                                                     

    As requested, may provide general typing of letters and reports; Provides photocopying as requested; Sends and receives email letters and reports. 

    Maintains corporate and departmental records and executes administrative policies determined by or in conjunction with management personnel. 

    Receives calls and responds to inquiries. 

    Maintains operational procedures relative to office clerical activities and works flow in and out of the department. 

 

 

Others (Common Responsibility)                                                                                                                                                              

    Reports all irregular issues and problems to supervisor for resolution.

    May relieve other departmental and group members during breaks, lunch, etc. May also substitutes for absent employees. 

    Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Management.

Manager, Process & Projects to join our Legal & Compliance team in Headquarters in MI. 

 

The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization. 

 

The Manager of Processes and Projects within XXXX oversees the evaluation and assessment of all Kian submissions including subsequent approvals, coordination of ICC requirements for the company and the facilitation and management of the company’s Management Systems Documentation site. 

 

They will be the process owner of all Kians which may include managing multiple Kians simultaneously. This role will take inventory of the phases each Kian is in, and what needs to be completed in order to achieve approval. 

 

They will partner with each function within the company to facilitate the proper process. They will maintain the documentation of core business systems and processes and keep them updated when changes and innovation occur. Their job is to understand and describe in writing the best way to accomplish Kian requests. The Process and Project Manager will have strong financial and business acumen, project management, and process improvement skills.

 

 

What you will be doing:

 

Manages the full project life-cycle of the Kian process

 

Collaborates with leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure all components of each Kian are precise and complete

 

Provides project status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key responsibilities and objectives for each Kian

 

Analyzes current practices and develops business process improvements within the department

 

Investigates shortfalls, issues, and complaints in current business processes

 

Implements changes in workflows, structures, and teams to ensure continuous company performance

 

Oversees MSD SharePoint site and owns implementation and updates of necessary documentation

 

Understands the latest management methodologies and embodies top leadership principles and styles

 

Actively leads projects and provides individual contributions after key projects have been identified

 

Demonstrates thought leadership through participation or leadership of stakeholder/advisory groups and presentations

 

Trains, mentors, and guides team members in current and new processes

 

Translates strategies into program/project plans including scope management, stakeholder engagement, and deliverables

 

Displays a sharp eye for identifying weak points in processes and organizational structures

 

Proficient in negotiation, problem solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills

 

Uses a variety of skills, including project design, leadership, and management to ensure performance and process development

 

Has strong understanding of Japanese working culture

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Expertise in communication, leadership, and teamwork

Asset management firm is seeking a VP Human Resources Manager, implementing talent acquisition and retention strategies, managing complex employee relations, administering compensation programs, and overseeing HR policies and procedures.

Description

 

• Partner with the company's leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
• Manage the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
• Develop working knowledge of headquarter employment practices and procedures.
• Coordinate annual rotation of expatriate staff and trainees from headquarters, including working with in-house counsel to obtain visas, and supporting expatriate staff with housing searches.
• Provide explanation, interpretation, and/or guidance to employees and managers regarding HR programs, policies, and procedures; conduct all new hire orientations, employee interviews, and manage exit process for departing staff.
• Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
• Provide consultation to managers on various employee related issues, including proper handling of performance management and disciplinary matters.
• Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.

Requirements

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or equivalent experience is required. MBA and/or SHRM certification is preferred.
• At least 5-10 years of well-rounded HR experience, with background in recruitment, compensation and employee relations/employment law.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills, business proficiency or fluency in Japanese preferred.
• Financial services industry experience preferred; previous work experience in a Japanese or other global company is helpful.
• Prior direct experience and knowledge of employee benefits (including leave administration and calculations for Paid Family Leave); fluency with MS Office and related database systems; working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now is preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of NY state, local and federal labor laws; must display the ability to properly interpret, convey and enforce them within the organization.

• Cooperation with the internal team to understand and represent benefits to customers

• Minimum 3 years paint shop automation experience preferred 

 

 

• Efficient in using computerized business systems such as power point, internet tools, video 

• Knowledge of operational procedures, products and base systems preferred
