今回は慣れ親しんだ港へ。
やっぱり落ち着けてい～い、とイスなどをセットしていたのですが、
そのうち信じられないほどチカが釣れ始め、座る暇などありませんでした。
結局８時間ほどはチカを釣りっぱなし。
夕方ピタッと釣れなくなったので、帰ろうか、と帰り支度を始めたら、
今度は小型のサヨリとアジがかかり…
随分イイ思いをした一日でした。
小型のチカでしたが、夫と二人で内臓を出し、衣をつけて実家や姉妹にお裾分けしました。
すごく喜んでもらえました。

We caught about 400 surf smelt.
It was eight p.m. when we got back home, and we started cleaning the fish.
We finally went to bed at two in the morning.
And the next day, I spent hours battering them in flour, egg, and then bread crumb.
But our parents and sisters were all glad when we shared them.
Now we feel we deserve a good sleep.
