When we arrived, there were already over ten fishers preparing their tools around the pierhead.
They must love fishing more than anything.
For us, fishing is a very new leisure activity.
They were fishing up local fish in good size, but we couldn't
because we were equipped with wrong tools and wrong bait for that purpose.
We caught four fish of this kind, and two bigger ones were made into sashimi,
two smaller ones including this on on the photo were made into miso soup.
It tasted really good.
We're ready to go back to the sea next weekend!

夜中に出かけ、３時間もドライブし、寝ないで釣りを楽しんで、そのまま岐路につく…。
なんて、もっともっと若い時じゃないとできない！
久しぶりに気を失うくらい眠いという経験をしました。
今のシーズンはホッケがあがりますが、ホッケは撒き餌が必要だったりして難しい魚です。
私たちは技術も道具もなく、周りのベテランさん方がホッケをあげる中、
子供が遊ぶように小さなソイをあげました。
写真のソイは小さすぎて料理の仕様がなかったので、あら汁に。
多少大きかった２尾はお刺身におろしました。
「こんなに美味しいソイは食べたことがない」と二人で感動しながら魚に感謝して食べました。
