母が20年ほど前に私によく作ってくれたお弁当を思い出して作りました。
でも、母のはお肉がやわらかくて味がしっかりついていて、もっと美味しかったんだけどなぁ。
お肉の味が濃いので、おかずは豆腐ハンバーグにしました。
ひき肉とタマネギを炒めて豆腐に揉みこんで焼く豆腐バーグも好きですが、もっとあっさりと食べたいときには、
市販の「豆腐ハンバーグの素」で作ります。
「根菜入り」と「きのこ入り」がありますが、
お気に入りはゴボウ、レンコン、ニンジンなどのシャリシャリ感がいい「根菜入り」。
これ、もしかして油で揚げても美味しいんじゃないかなぁ。
乾燥ものなので、保存料などの添加物も使用していないので、安心です。

寒天ごはんの牛肉の甘辛煮のせ
豆腐ハンバーグ
ニンジンの金平
花豆の煮物
Mom used to make me bento when I was working in Sapporo.
And I liked her beef bento, which I tried to make this morning,
but it didn't taste as good as hers anyway.
The work in Sapporo was my first full-time job, and I was having hard time.
I was always busy and stressed out.
At that time, I felt going out for lunch was too much of a waste of time.
I wanted to stay in office, finish up the bento in spare moments, and work,
so that I can go home at a decent time, which didn't happen a lot.
Bento was something that could save my time.
But now, as I recall, I think it made me feel that, at least, someone was on my side,
thinking and caring about me.
I heard it right now on the radio that modern busy moms buy Cup-o'Noodles for their children
to bring school for lunch.
Could that be true?
Sure, they must be too busy.
But imagine your child opening that paper-lid of Cup-o'Noodles,
and pour boiling water and wait for three minutes.
Would they feel someone's on their side?
