Opening a bento while others are having fast foods out from convenience stores needs some courage. You might feel like you are bringing out a part of your private life to light, especially when all others seem to holding it back. The other day, as I listened to the rustling of plastic bags from around, I opened my bento box as quietly as I could. But a lady next to me noticed and said, "O-bento!" Yeah, right. It is really rare thing these days to be double slashed. And I noticed that the food they're eating do not really smell. Are they really FOOD? Our body is the result of what we eat. I want to choose what I eat and feel good about it. And that's why I keep making bento every morning for my beloved husband, wishing him another good day.
