2016年Amebaおみくじ結果
Today I would like to introduce a manga called "Last Game" by Shinobu Amano.
Here are volumes 1~7.
It's a shojo manga about the last game between Yanagi and Kujou (as the title suggests). The last game Yanagi presented towards Kujou was that he wins if he is able to make Kujyou recognize her true feeling towards him. (Feeling as in that she likes him as a guy, not as a very good friend like she first thinks)
The story starts from Kujou transfering to Yanagi's elementary school where he was number one in academics, sports and popularity. Since her transfer, he became second in everything except for popularity.
The manga was originally supposed to end with just three chapters, hence the first three chapters are separated into their times in elementary, middle and high school whereas the following chapters (chapter 4 and on) all focus on their university life. Their university life consists of introduction to new friends, love trianges(or a polygon....) and overall character development.
Although the pace of the story is really slow (*SPOILER* it takes Kujou 7 complete volumes to recognize that she likes Yanagi) I really enjoy reading Last Game. What makes this one different from much of the other shojo manga (that I know of) is that the guy's (Yanagi) perspective and feelings towards the girl(Kujou) is well shown such that I personally cheer Yanagi on that Kujou will definitely confess to him!
