2007年に農林水産省が主催して決定した「農山漁村の郷土料理百選」
"Local cuisine selected one hundred of Rural anda Fishing village " determined the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries is organized in 2007.
北海道からは「ジンギスカン」
"Jingisukan", "grilled chanchan,"
「ちゃんちゃん焼き」「石狩鍋」が選ばれました。
"Ishikari pot" was chosen from Hokkaido.
これらは北海道の郷土料理として定着しています。
They are established as regional cuisine in Hokkaido.
唯一「石狩鍋」だけが、
Only "Ishikari pot",
札幌の北隣の「石狩市」の名前がついています。
there is the name of the northern neighbor of Sapporo "Ishikari-shi".
それは発祥が石狩だからです。
Because it's Ishikari is originated.
石狩には石狩川の河口があり、
There is the mouth of the Ishikari River in Ishikari,
秋になると鮭が遡上してきます。
it'll be on salmon swim upstream to the fall.
もともとはその鮭を獲る漁師の賄い料理として、
As meals cuisine of fishermen catch the salmon,
味噌汁に鮭のぶつ切りと野菜を入れて提供されていたようです。
it seems to have been provided to put the vegetables and chunks of salmon in miso soup originally.
それを「金大亭」という1880年創業のお店が
It's said that a shop founded in 1880 called "Kindai Tei"
メニューとして出し始めたと言われています。
has started to put it as a menu.
他に「あいはら」という石狩鍋老舗店が
Ishikari pot long-established store called "Aihara"
現在も石狩川河口で営業を続けています。

昭和20年に石狩の「地引き網漁」が

これから寒くなってくるので、

石狩鍋で日本酒飲むのもいいですね。
