On 7 July was "The Star Festival" in Japan. 
We usually make a wish on that day.

Do you know why?
The origin of the event traces back
an ancient Chinese story.
One day, a happy couple was seperated
and they could only see each other
once a year in the evening on 7 July. 
Especially, the weather needs to be clear
because they cross over the Milky Way.
Therefore, people wish for nice weather on that day.
Also, we make a wish for ourselves.
This photo was taken around the festival season
in the university where I work.

"I hope to have a lovely holiday in Hawaii !!"
