Recently almost 10 American students came to our university in Niigata, Japan
Foreign langauge education, especially Enlgish is the main forcus in our university, so we have some teachers from England, America, Canada and Singapore. Also, there is Japanese staff who studied abroad like me. 
However, when our students met the American students who are almost similar age, their motivation to communicate in English seemed to increase. 
They attended a same lecture. Also, during the break they talked about sport, music and films. It was really nice to have such an opportunity.
