My darling and I went a hot spring resort last weekends. The place is called Hahiko Village in Niigata, Japan. We stayed in a hotel one night, so we had a relaxing time.
In the village, there is a historical shrine appeared in a poem written more than 1,000 years ago. Here is the photo taken in front of the shrine gate.

We could see a beautiful stream in the shrine site.

The shrine was surrounded by the forest. We enjoyed walking among the tall trees. The person in blue jacket in the photo is my darling.

Well, it was difficult to take a photo in the hot spring, so I took a photo of a foot bath in the street. Anybody can put your feet in to warm you up.

Since I was reieased from the work and housekeeping, I felt so refreshed in the hot spring resort! ![]()
November seems to be a good season because you can see the colourful autumn leaves. If you are interested in Japanese hot springs, I recommend you to go to Yahiko Village in Niigata.
