Yue sat down next to Wami. Wami took a glance at her before she continued to take out the Namisis spell book for sprites and a blue Fres bracelet.
There were fifteen sprites in Yue's sprite class. Some of them wore wings, which fluttered at every minute. The wings generally looked like some lines that came out from the back. They were mostly green, blue and red in colour. All of them seemed to know what to do. They took out a spell book and an equipment from their bag.
Soon, the teacher, Mr Hasley came in. He asked the students to get ready their own defensive equipments and flipped the page of the spell book to 5. Then, he gave each students a small mini arrow. This arrow is called "Daw Qwe", a small weapon for attack purpose.
Yue was bewildered at what he meant by "own defensive equipments."She tried to ignore her increasing uneasiness. She sneaked a look at Wami and saw her equipment, which looked like a bracelet but with blue wings and a heart on it. The heart looked crystal and was shining.
First, Mr Hasley told the sprite students to gather their magic force first. He taught them how to feel their magic inside themselves and then force it out slowly and gradually. Yue had difficulty in making out her magic. Many of the sprites, including Wami, had their magic energy out and it flowed out of them like steam, but colder and less visible.
Mr Hasley told the students that managed to manipulate their magic to look at spell book page 6 to cast a simple spell.
At this time, Yue had closed her eyes to concentrate fiercely. She did not see that someone behind her casted a spell that went haywire and its force was coming straight at her. Unlike the other students who had the defensive equipment to create a barrier to protect themselves, Yue had none.
"Look out!" Wami thrust herself at Yue and moved Yue out of danger. Yue was shocked motionless for a second as she tried to figure out what happened.
"Why on earth did you not activate your equipment? That could have killed you!" Wami chastied.
Yue stuttered nervously and awkwardly, "Wh....what e...equip....equipment?"
Before Wami could reply, Mr Hasley had come over. "I see that you are from outside Namisis. Everyone is required to have at least one defensive equipment during the lessons for safety sake."He told Yue.
"I don't know that. I don't know where it is sold either," Yue said in mild despair.
"Hmmm...I need someone to take her to Judey Faws to buy it then. It's too dangerous for her to go alone...who should I choose?" Mr Hasley looked around.
Wami:
What would Wami do?

Wami offered to go with Yue. Yue was grateful and thanked Wami. They arranged to go there after school. The lesson proceeded as per normal.
Yue finally learned how to control her magic force after Wami taught her.
Mr Hasley then instructed, "Find another person to be your partner. Hold out the arrow away from yourself and the other person will try to gather magic to attack that arrow. You have to break the arrow before it attacks you. Meanwhile, the other person has to try to use magic to protect that arrow and try to use it to attack the other person."
Yue was at a lost as to whom to choose as partner. Wami was sorely tempted to ask another person as a partner because Yue seemed to have difficulty in using magic. However, she saw Yue look so forlorn.
Wami:

Wami became Yue's partner. Yue was very grateful to Wami. Wami patiently taught and waited for Yue to control her magic.
Wami thought it was easy to break Yue's arrow but she found that it was impossible to do so. A very strong force was opposing her. Wami was surprised and looked at Yue. Yue was closing her eyes and frowning in great concentration. Wami felt a strong force coming from Yue, something that felt like wind.
Suddenly, the arrow flied up and attacked Wami greatly. The barrier from the Fres bracelet could only withheld it for five seconds before the barrier broke. Wami luckily dodged it in the nick of time, hitting and rolling to the ground. It hit the wall and cracked loudly.
Yue opened her eyes at the loud sound coming from the broken barrier and arrow. She gasped at broken arrow.
"Are you hurt? I'm so sorry! I don't know why that happen!" Yue writhed her hands nervously and guilty.
Wami stood up and brushed her clothes. She looked at Yue with admiration and in a new light. "I'm fine. That is so powerful. How do you do that?"
Yue shook her head helplessly. "I don't know."
Wami said, "hmmm...interestng."
The lesson continued as Mr Hasley taught more things. Finally, the bell rang for the end of school.
