2012.☆

Right now it's New Year's Eve in Japan.

In Canada, this happens tomorrow.

So, Happy New Year, everyone.☆

I hope the new year of 2012 brings lots of happiness and new, wonderful events and changes.

I'll be spending the new year up north with my aunt, uncle, and grandmother.☆

Since it's been a few days, I'll write about recent events.

My poor laptop crashed the other day...

I brought it to my friend's house when we had our sleepover, so that we could watch Versailles together.

Unfortunately, it stopped, and the blue screen of death appeared..

So, laptop-san was sent away today to be repaired.

Hopefully, it comes back before I have to return to university.

Christmas took place at home for the first time.☆

My dad bought me a reprint of the original Joy of Cooking book! It has a lot of interesting recipes in it, some of which I'm not sure I should attempt..but there are some I'd like to try eventually.

Maybe I'll be able to cook like MASASHI-san one day.☆

I decided to go to the mall the other day, and participate in scroogenomics. It's a lovely concept.

I bought Sailor Moon volumes 1 and 2, Black Bird volume 10, and new makeup! I now have new eye shadow, eyeliner, lipstick and lipgloss. Unfortunately everything was over $50...a bit expensive, but I hope it will pay off eventually.

No woman should be without a tube of red lipstick, right? It's essential, even if you never wear makeup, like me.☆

Emerald has been especially loud lately. I think it's because she doesn't approve of the new food we bought for her. Unfortunately the food we usually buy for her was out of stock, so we had no choice...

I'm sorry, Emerald!

She's also going through another kitten phase, where she has lots of energy all of a sudden.☆

She always wants to play now, but I get tired very easily...

What a strange cat she is.

I hope to buy the new Versailles calendar soon. Unfortunately I'll have to spend a bit more money in order for it to get here sooner, rather than later. But I'm certain it will be worth it.☆

Also, in anticipation of YUKI-san's birthday, I'd like to buy a gift.

But...what should I buy?

I don't know much about what he likes or his style. Unfortunately, this means I will have to rely on my instincts.

I'm sorry if I don't send something you like, YUKI-san.

It will also be HIZAKI-san's birthday in the same month.

I think I could draw some flowers for him. I'm not quite sure.

Luckily, there's still a bit of time before their birthdays to decide on all of these things.

I'm sorry for those of you who come across this blog and think it's Japanese.

I would blog inJapanese if I knew enough, but I'm still learning...barely.

Mall Time.☆

Today, I met with my friend in the mall. We exchanged gifts.

Everything ended up being related to nails by coincidence.

I bought her nail polish she had been looking for for a long time. You can't get it where I'm from, because there isn't much of a demand for something like this. I did find it in the town were my university is, so I bought some there. I hope she really likes them.☆

My friend was wonderful enough to buy me two nail sets. One is blue, and one is pink.

They're absolutely lovely and cute. Thank you very very much. ^-^

I'll show a picture of them next time.

My personal fashion doesn't show it at all, but I really do like cute and cool things.☆

I'd love to wear pretty skirts and dresses and blouses and things, and I'd like to try wearing makeup too, of course along with my new nail sets. Unfortnately, my body type and low self-confidence prevents me from doing so. Maybe one day I'll be able to wear what I like.

A picture showing a perview of the 2012 Versailles calendar was released online. Everyone looks absolutely wonderful. To be honest, I fell off of my chair... You could tell I was very happy.

I can't wait for it to be released. I'm going to ask dad if I can use a credit card to buy it instead of PayPal, so I won't have to wait so long.☆

That's about it for now.

There's going to be a Christmas special on TV, I'll be watching that with my dad. ^-^

I'm finally home. The trip took about five and a half hours.

I feel cold for once, so I know I'm not dreaming.

At first, Emerald was confused as to what was going on, but she soon remembered my face, and se was very happy. That made me happy as well.☆

I'll go warm up my frozen hands with some tea.☆
