Throwback to our first trip ever on February 2017 
We've been planning this trip for few months and supposed to be a double date but the other couple cancelled on last minute when me and bf already purchased the tickets, so... trip must go on!
Flight to Lombok from Jakarta took about 2,5 hours and we took Garuda Indonesia because they have better flight schedule. Been blessed that weather was really great because I got received some update from the hotel we booked that weather was very bad for a whole week before our flight 
Our first destination is Gili Trawangan island! To reach Bangsal Harbour from airport, we took rental car that we booked previously and too bad thing didn't as smooth as we planned because they were late for more than 30 minutes to pick us
Fortunately, everything went smooth after that!
We really enjoy the view with breeze on the boat and can't believe we already reached Gili Trawangan island! But I will post about this island on next post!

We wanted to relax from our busy and rush city, me - Jakarta and him - Singapore, so we did some researches for several places and finally decided our destination is.... Lombok Island, Indonesia! 
Lombok is an island in West Nusa Tenggara province - Indonesia. There's a lot of beautiful places to go in this island and I trully in love with it! If you ever heard about Gili islands such as Gili Trawangan which is one of our destination on this trip, Gili Air and so on, those are one of favourite destination when you visiting Lombok. FYI, you need to take boat to Gili islands from the main Lombok island and mostly from west Lombok.
Arrived at Lombok International Airport in Praya, Lombok and I honestly surprised for their airport because it was so small for an internationally famous tourist destination. I do really hope government will renovate it more decent and comfortable for everyone. As you can see in the picture below, that was the whole building of the airport.. Yep, thats the main building

Fortunately, everything went smooth after that! Took 2,5 - 3 hours drive to reach the harbour 
and to be honest, that was a looooong drive because there is no traffic and the driver drove quite fast 
We talked a lot with the driver along the journey and got a lot of interesting informations about their cultures

He explained to us there are two options to reach Gili Trawangan island, public boat or speed boat. Public boat costs much cheaper ($1.11/person) but take longer time (30-45 mins) and you must wait the boat to full to abroad.
Speed boat costs more expensive (about $18.5/person) but you dont need to wait till the boat full and only take 10-15 mins.
Since we are not in hurry and need to wait check in time, we decided to take public boat. Cheap and can experience more 
Driver bought the tickets for us and we paid his car rental service and the boat tickets to him 
He handed over the tickets and told us to wait until they called the colour of the tickets (our ticket was white as shown).

It wasn't that long to wait to be called (about less than 5 mins) and the boat immediately full with peoples~ from tourist till local citizen!
