Tonight, I talked about tattoo with my host mom and her friend. Host mom's son got tattoo yesterday and she asked me if I want to have tattoo. As many Japanese know, tatto is unusual thing in Japan. People are afraid of tattoo because we tend to think that people with tattoo can be a gangster. Moreover, people who have tattoo can't enter the hot springs, public swimming pool, and public beach. Therefore. if I get tattoo, Japanese people are gonna discriminate me. So, I've never thought that I wanted to have tattoo.
However, I felt that it may be a time to change our mind. I thought so because I heared that there was a guy who used the word "mom" as a tattoo since his mom was dead. Thanks to the tattoo, he can feel he's always with his mom. From this story and seeing host bro's tattoo, I leared that Japanese shouldn't regard people with tattoo as weired person. There is a stereotype, but young generation can change the image
for tatoo. There must be Japanese who want to do tattoo, but can't do that. I hope people who want to have tattoo can get it and enjoy their fasion.
