Jane 校長よりGrowing up in Vancouver and finishing off University in Hokkaido on an exchange program, I spent 3 years in Japan studying the language, culture and at the same time teaching English as a part time job. I realized the need for English conversation and teaching the art of conversation for all people around the world to have one language to communicate in.
My passion has always been to teach English and to bring people together with communication. Opening ETC English Training Centre in 2001 was to focus on having small class size of 2-3 learners to benefit the students for them to practice conversation, learn useful expressions and target pronunciation to have clarity when speaking. ETC only has teachers that have English as their first language, graduated from College/University, have experience teaching abroad and train in the ETC teaching methods. Since 2001 we have taught workers from major corporate companies like Facebook, Microsoft and Amazon as well as International companies.
We have prepared learners for all proficiency exams such as IELTS, CELPIP, TOIEC. Provided job interview and Resume classes for our learners to gain employment and most of all taught conversational skills to upgrade any level.
Our only objective is for all of our learners to be successful with their English language goals.
