We finished five performances; one on Thursday night, three during school and one at night on Friday. So we have one left on Sunday (tomorrow) night.

I think we are doing well so far. Well, Thursday night one and the first one of three during school were kind of messed up.

Yesterday, I was soooo tired and my feet hurt so badly. But I had to act on stage. From last night till this noon, I had a headache. Good thing it's gone now.

There's what it takes to be in choir-- what it takes to be a performer.

Some people were crying in backstage last night during concert. Each of them had their own problem. They had to get over it and act on stage smiling like nothing had happened. Sometimes it's hard. I can imagine how harsh to be a pro performer.

Finally, it's tomorrow that we have concert to perform! ♪

Tomorrow (Thu)'s one is 7:00 to 9:00; Friday we have 7:00 to 9:00 again and also performance during school. We'll miss all of our classes on Friday. I'm selling tickets ($1) for that. Well, almost all of choir members are selling it. I've sold only two tickets... And Sunday's one is 3:00 to 5:00.

I'm singing choral songs and singing & dancing with some jazz songs. Some people are just dancing, and some people are only singing.

I had to remember a lot-- more than 15 songs and some dances. I wanna look and of course sound good on stage. I really do.

Anyway, I'm having fun, so I'll have fun on the stage too.

I had choir practice after school to 9 today as I wrote about it yesterday.

And also it included costume rehearsal. I usually wear red dress when we have performance. It's SSA's uniform. There are earrings, necklace, tights, and shoes as part of uniform too.

Exit one's uniform is blue dress and for guys, black suits with blue vest. Concert choir's is black and white dress and black suits. (SSA is of course only girls' group-- sopranos and altos.)

We look neat and blight in the costumes. I got used to wear it because we have concert and everything to perform so often.

We are working so hard right now. I really hope spring concerts are gonna be good.

Okay, I'm exhausted. I'll just go to bed. クマ

I came back from choir practice just now.
Oh, I haven't written that I'm in choir in my school yet.
The choir I'm in is kinda different from what they usually think choir is. It is class we take and also after school activity depends on the schedule.
We sing and dance. I decided to get in this choir because I loved singing, and choir sounded like only singing activity. It seemed perfect for me actually. And the fact is, I was dancing all confused on the first day of the school! I have to admit, I couldn't dance. But I think I can dance now, at least a little better.
It consists of three advanced choir groups which are concert choir, SSA (stands for Soplano1, Soplano2, and Alto- girls' choir), and Exit one. There's also beginning choir.
I'm in Soplano1 in SSA-- the highest voice group.ト音記号

We are having spring concerts to perform this Thursday, Friday, and Sunday so we have practices and rehearsals everyday after school this week. It was 5:00-8:00 p.m. today, and tomorrow it will be right after school (around 2:30) till 9:00!! I don't even have time to do my homework!ガクリ

Speaking of time, there's about 14 hours (depends on daylight saving time system) time difference between here and Japan. So if I wrote an article on 9 p.m., it will be expressed as 11 a.m. on next day. Confusing, but funny.

By the way, something stinks in my house today!

I'm tired and ready to sleep. CUマリオ

I went to see a movie called "300 " with my host mom and one of our friends and just came back now.

It was supposed to be historical movie about the battle of Thermopylae and 300 Spartan warriors which we learn in world history class. Whether it is historically correct number or not, more than enough people died in this movie!

It's R-rated... I was told that after watching it although I kinda noticed during all those violent scenes (I believe it was beyond violent). I was like "OMG, This is obviously not my world! ((゚m゚;)" I don't know why my host mom chose it instead of all other movies. (Probably she knew that it's just historic and not R-rated) Well, I'm seventeen years and about three months old so I'm allowed to watch it, but it was still too much for me. CGI and images were good though. Oh, and come to think of it, that is the first and only R rated movie I've seen.

I think it will be released in this June in Japan. I don't know what kind film rating it will be.
