📍📍LAKE OF IFNI 📍📍 👉Lake Ifni is located in the Rural Commune of Toubkal, in the centre of the High Atlas and at the bottom of a valley framed by the summits of the Toubkal mountain. The Rural Commune of Toubkal is administratively attached to the Souss Massa Draâ region, Taroudant province, Taliouine circle, Askaoun caïadat. The population around the lake is Aït Tizgui in the north, Aït Imi n'Tizgui in the centre, Aït Slimane and Aït Telit in the east. 👉The lake attracts many visitors by its richness and its unique landscape. And its slopes stretch as far as the eye can see, surrounded by immense forests, intersected by verdant valleys. 👉 From Taliouine, a departure can be made from the village Ighil N'ou-Ghoul, an opportunity to visit on the way this beautiful valley of Oued Zagmouzène to the old historic kasbah and fertile gardens fed crocus whose flowers offer us this wonderful saffron. 👉The trail then ascends to the small centre of Askaoun which goes between arid hills surrounded by the slopes of Siroua and Toubkal, a vast desert plateau dotted with small villages like the picturesque village of Amassing. Arriving at the small Douar d'Amouzer, 8 km from Assarag, the trail continues on foot or by mules to go up to Lake Ifni with an unforgettable view on the majestic Toubkal nearby.
