This so-called Sony bridge camera has a powerful 27-810mm wide-angle lens with 30x optical zoom, and an f-stop of F2.8 in wide-angle and F5.6 in tele. Thanks to the new image sensor, the DSC-HX200V performs much better in low-light circumstances. Night shots and indoor shots both have much less noise than before. The Sony CyberShot HX200V’s body has the design of a beginner SLR camera. It is a solid camera with a good grip, an electronic viewfinder and a tilting display. The clear 3" Fine Trublack LCD screen with a resolution of 921.000 pixels that can be tilted, makes it possible to shoot from any angle, so that you have much more freedom to find a nice composition.
Shooting photos with the Sony HX200V
The Sony CyberShot HX200V has an ISO sensitivity range of 100 to 12.800. Up to ISO 6400, the photos are of good quality, and anything above that is practically useless. The camera has a fast auto focus system that is able to focus in 0.13 seconds. At night, the HX200V is logically a bit slower; then the camera needs 0.21 seconds. Thanks to the effective Optical SteadyShot with Active mode, the photos are nice and sharp across the entire zoom range. Next to the 30x optical zoom, there is also a Clear Image Zoom, which means you can zoom up to 60x, without compromising quality.

It is truly pleasurable to shoot with Sony’s flagship. Next to a quick auto focus system and a good image stabilizer, the Sony CyberShot HX200V has various photo technologies that allow it to shoot nice photos even in poor lighting conditions. Indoor as well as outdoor shots show little noise. Thanks to the tilting display, you have a lot of freedom as a photographer while choosing the composition. Additionally, the Sony DSC-HX200V is equipped with all possible photo functions, to take macro photos from 1cm distance to panorama photos in 3D.
