Finally Thursday!

Ah it is almost Friday! Ok I don't really have much to blog about... just felt like updating a little. Nothing much has happened except at work. My company's doing the LOA thing where we have to take 2 unpaid days off every month until they think they're making more money. It really sucks to be honest, but it's better than getting laid off right? It's not that busy at work at the moment either. I wish more clients would bring more samples in.

Well anyways, my boyfriend is coming tomorrow! Yay! I've planned where we're going already. DAT (Dine About Town) is ending on Saturday so we will be dining at different restaurants for lunch and dinner. DAT is a San Francisco thing where fine dining restaurants in the city of San Francisco give a prix fixe 3 course menu for $21.95 for lunch and $34.95 for dinner. It's actually a really good deal at some restaurants. My bf and I are going to go check out Butterfly and Ruth's Chris. Yea, can you believe Ruth's Chris is participating too? I'll blog about those restaurants after we go.

I went to a burger place near my house today for lunch before going to work called Sea Breeze and it was VERY good. I mean I've been there once before but the burger I had last time wasn't too memorable. Well I ordered the BLT sandwich with avocado this time and I can say it's one of the best I've tried. Maybe it was the sauce they put on it or the generous amount of veggies they put on it. They didn't just put in any type of lettuce, it was like a mixed salad. I don't know how to describe it... I'm pretty bad at describing my veggies. I have a picture of it. Oh and the fries were so fresh! Done right at the spot!

Doesn't it look yummy? I tried finishing all the fries but couldn't devour the last three pieces.

Ok so that's about it. Pretty boring post I know... but I'll end it with a picture from Hong Kong that I took at the New Territories. I forgot the name of the place. It's near Sha Tin called Tai Wo I think.

Hong Kong Part 3: Stanley

Ah so here is my third entry of my Hong Kong trip. I'm wondering if I should keep posting more but there are just so many areas that I've been to and so many pictures that it will take forever to finish posting. So this may be the last Hong Kong entry! My bf and I took a double decker bus to Stanley... let's just say we went on so many mountain roads. I have no idea how those bus drivers do it! Stanley was really fun and it was pretty. This is like another place to avoid the huge crowds. The feel of this place was quite western.

So that was it for stanley. We wanted to try this chinese cafe but they were closed!! The Boathouse is probably one of those restaurants that I would only try once. The food didn't really stand out or anything even though it was just a light lunch.

Hong Kong Part 2: Christmas decorations

Hi again. Here is another Hong Kong entry. Yes I know, Christmas and New Years have already passed, but it's still cool to see decorations right? Hong Kong Xmas decorations are just too cute! These are from all over.. some from malls and most are around TST. I have more but they didn't show up too well! I really felt the holiday spirit while I was there. I don't see so many lights on buildings in San Francisco!
