Wardrobe Summer Clean up

Yesterday I noticed this outside the theater:



The Democratic party is coming in town in about 2 weeks. Several artists painted a whole lot of fiberglass donkeys, 57 of them to be exact. This one is Nebraska and features a member of one the many Native American nations in residing Nebraska (such as Pawnee, Lakota, and Cheyenne).

Cool, isn't it?


For the past 2 days my boss and I had cleaned up the wardrobe department. Lots of reorganizing and getting rid of costumes they haven't been used in a long time.
I mean, just look at this hallway! Lots of boxes of costumes and wardrobe stuff.

If only I could be as studious about cleaning at work than at home....

Happy 4th of July!

Happy Independence Day!

America turns 240

Here are some pictures of the fireworks broadcasted on a local tv station in Philadelphia, the birthplace of the USA.













And of course sparklers are a necessity.

This was the first time cooking on the 4th for some family that came over today for the holiday

After today's festivities, I have to go back to work tomorrow. I really don't feel like going back after having a week off but being able to work is a good thing. Afterall, in a few days I'll have the rest of summer off so I really shouldn't complain!

I would say if you want to visit the USA, you should try come around this time as there arw many things to see and do around and on the 4th of July....It's one of the main American holidays people look forward to and people seem to be in a merrier mood.

Point Pleasant Beach

I went on a day trip with some family to celebrate one of my aunt's birthday a few days ago.

I love the ocean!

We went to a beach called Point Pleasant in the state of New Jersey. I may have been here before as a child but I don't remember it so this is the first visit as an adult!





I don't know what it is but there's something magical about the ocean. It takes away your worries and gives you peace and clarity. Even if the water is too cold, I find it mandatory to soak my feet and hands in the healing waters of the ocean.

Since it was a spontaneous idea to go here, there was no surfing or swimming especially since it a cloudy, cool say. Despite that, it was a chill outting.

I look so tired! Well, then again, I did only get 4 hours of sleep the night before but I enjoyed myself. A much needed day trip!

I'll have to tell you about my trip to see Riverdanceperformance another time.
