The Georgia Satellites（ザ・ジョージア・サテライツ）の"The Myth Of Love"は、1986年リリースの彼らの1stアルバム「Georgia Satellites」に収録されている曲。
Dan Baird（ダン・ベアード、Vo.,Gr.）によって書かれた曲。
バンドは1980年にジョージア州アセンズ（Athens）で結成され、最初のバンド名はKeith and the Satellitesと言った。後にバンド名をThe Georgia Satellitesに変えて、エレクトラ・レコードからデビューした。Dan Baird（ダン・ベアード）、Rick Richards（リック・リチャーズ）は結成時からのメンバー。
フル･アルバム4枚をリリースした後、1990年にDan Bairdがソロとなるために脱退。バンドは一時活動停止であったが、1993年～1997年に再結成されていた。
