現在も公開が続いている映画 君の名は。 ですが，ついに北米でも公開されることが決定されましたね．
映画の北米公開に合わせて，映画の中で使われている"歌もの"の劇判の英語バージョンがRADWIMPS 野田洋次郎さんによって書き下ろされました！

野田さんは帰国子女！！だからこそ英語詞をかけちゃうんですね！すごい・・・
（帰国子女ってなんで男でも子女っていうんだろう・・・）
日本語のCDも買ったのに，英語も買うなんて・・・とすごく悩みましたが，どうしても聴きたくて買いました！
今回はその曲のうち，スパークルについて英語バージョンと日本語バージョンについて比較してみたいと思います
野田さんも言っていましたが，英語詞のほうが日本語詞よりも同じ音数の中で多くの単語を詰め込むことができます．なので内容的に英語バージョンのほうが盛りだくさんになっているのです．そこで今回は英語バージョンによってどのような内容が付け加えられたかに注目していきたいと思います

さっそくみていきましょう．まず歌い出し．

"まだこの世界は僕をかいならしていたいみたいだ"
いきなりきました．日本語バージョンにはない一節！
直訳すると，終わりのないゲーム（世界）につかまってしまって，という内容が加えられていますね．うんたしかにそうだ・・・
"If that's the way I will obey"
"望み通りだろう"
ここでは，やるしかない！みたい意味の，"望み通りだろう"ですので，従う，という意味のobeyが使われています．
"It's my time to bear the load"
"こっからが僕だよ"
直訳すると，重荷を背負う時がきた，みたいな意味でしょうか．かっこよくなりますね！
"I dreamed of a world so far from here, that's not on the map"
"ここでないどっかを夢見たよ"
直訳すると，地図に載っていない遠く，となります．違和感ないですねーー言葉のチョイスがさすがです．
そしてサビ

"運命だとか未来とかって言葉がどれだけ手を伸ばそうと届かない場所で僕ら恋をする”
運命＝fate 未来＝future に，未来という意味でtomorrowを入れてます．サビに大胆な（？）アレンジですね！順番を変えたのは，歌いやすさを考えてではないでしょうか．さらに，恋をする＝raise our love に加えて，we breathe＝息をする we dream＝夢を見る を入れています．
映画の内容をより思い起こすようなないようとなっていますね．また，fall in love じゃなくて raise our love にしたのも，愛を育むような意味合いが含まれていて素敵です．（fall in love だと歌いにくいね笑）
"Even the second, hour hands of the clock they look at us sideways as they tick and tock"
"時計の針も二人を横目に見ながら進む"
seconds, hour hands で時計の針です．長針と短針のことですね！意外と学校では習わないやつです．また，時計が進むというところを，ttick and tockとしています．日本語でもチックタックって言いますもんね！なかなか思いつかないですねーー
これ以上長くなってもあれなので二番については省略します笑
いかがでしたか？ほとんどは日本語の内容に忠実に英語に訳した，という感じですが，その隙間にちょっとしたアレンジを見つけるとちょっとお得な気分です♪
英語詞をみてもほとんど違和感がないのは本当にすごいなと思います．どのくらい時間かけて作ったのでしょうか・・・ 英語バージョンをきいてるだけだと，違いに気づけなかったので日本語のスパークルを流しながら，英語の歌詞カードを読む，という荒業に出ていました笑（頭良くなりそう）
しかも野田さんの発音が良すぎてめっちゃかっこいいです！！おすすめは，サビのraise our love です笑 RとLきれいいい！！
