Dream Cup: Taiwo Sogelola Star Despite Future Eagle Defeat

Nigeria U16 team otherwise known as a
Future Eagle started their campaign in the invitational tournament, Dream Cup in Japan on a losing note.
The team under coach Haruna Ilerika in the early hours of Wednesday suffered a 1-0 defeat to the Junior Orange Boys of the Netherlands.
Despite the defeat, M &N FC defender Taiwo Sogelola was the cynosure of all eyes as he put up an amazing display in the keenly contested encounter.
The game which was played in Fukushima witnessed fireworks from both sides and Taiwo was on hand to check the attacking threat of the Dutch team.
The Dutch side got their only goal of the game in the first half and all efforts of the Future Eagle to bounce back proved abortive.
The energetic defender is expected to be in action when they face Japan in their next game of the competition.
