How to update mac 10.6.8. New Word for Mac 2016 will it work on OS 10.6.8? Hi.I would really like to upgrade my Word from 2008 but am not sure if it will work with the new 2016 version. If anyone has any input I would appreciate it.

The description clearly states “New”. Seems odd that they have a stockpile of older model computers laying around. Bought because of the price. Recieved it in two days even though I picked the free shipping option. It was in great condition. No scratches except a few on the bottom. So I was slightly skeptical that it is actually a new computer.

After turning it on and looking at the battery, it indicated that it had been charged 250 times! Considering an Apple battery only lasts about 1000 charges, this got me worried. You can find refurbished units for a little cheaper. Now I am not sure if I should return it or not. So frustrating.
The MacBook Air I received is clearly not new. The body of the laptop shows more than a few scratches and the charging port was fairly dirty. I also opened up the system information and looked at the battery charge cycle count and it is already at 264 which shows that it has at least had a year of use. Despite the false seller claims of being new, this is still a fair price for a refurbished MacBook and the actual display and keyboard all seem to be in good shape, hopefully I don't run into any issues later on and do not regret keeping it.
