ディスコ・バンド、Chicが '79年に発表したサード・アルバム『Risque』に収録された全米No1ソング。Bernard Edwardsが奏でるリズミカルで習慣性の高いベースラインはあまりにも有名、Queen "Another On Bites the Dust"やBlondie "Rapture"はこのベースにインスパイアを受けて作られたそうです。また、初のヒップホップのシングル"Rapper's Delight"にも引用されており、当時の音楽シーンに与えた影響の大きさが感じられます。
