A：I'm not sure which 40 million videos you are talking about, but I think you probably are. I took a break from the club right before the Kyoto Marching Contest, so I'm not sure.

A：People who just came to see the show didn't seem to think anything of it, but those who identified themselves on Twitter and sent direct mails, and those who reached out to high-five parade spectators while shooing children away were frankly disgusting. Also, people taking low angle photos were not well-liked.
見に来るだけの方はなんとも思われてませんでした。Twitterを特定してDMしてきたり、パレードの観客とのハイタッチの時に子供をおしのけて手を伸ばす人は正直気持ち悪かったです。あとローアングル撮影してる方は結構嫌われてました。
Ｑ：Did you have any tips on how to play while jumping around like a SING and not go out of tune? Like playing fortissimo?
SINGのように飛び跳ねながら演奏しても音をはずさないコツはありましたか？フォルテシモで吹くとか？
A：The first thing to do is to practice a lot. Also, I needed to strengthen my arm muscles, because a misalignment of the mouthpiece can be fatal, and I needed the strength to keep blowing a constant breath, so I had to practice long tones with a very low sound. It was important to keep the steps from affecting the upper body as much as possible, but it was very difficult.
これは練習重ねるのが第1です。あとはマウスピースのズレが命取りなので腕の筋肉を鍛えるのと、一定の息を吹き続けられるような力が必要でしたのでめちゃくちゃ小さい音でロングトーンをする練習がありました。ステップはなるべく上半身に影響が出ないようにするのが大事でしたがめちゃくちゃ難しいです。

A：Yes, that's right. I was attracted to that dance. I decided to join the club because I wanted to be on stage rather than aiming for the national competition.
そうですね。やはりあの踊りに惹かれました。私は大会で全国を目指す、というよりはステージに立ちたくて入部を決めました。
Ｑ：I am wondering what kind of expression I should wear when I watch the parade.
I am an old man, so if I try to get into the spirit of the parade, I will look like a weakling, and if I try to smile, I will end up with a blank expression.

パレードを見るときどの様な表情で見たら良いか悩んでいます。
おじさんなので、ノリノリになっても頭弱い人みたいですし、笑顔のつもりでもニタニタした気持ち悪い人と思われても困るので無表情になってしまいます。
生徒側の望むおじさんファンはどうすれば良いでしょうか。
A：I think any facial expression will do. At least in my generation, no student was uncomfortable with the smiling ones. Those who were in a groove often cheered me up and encouraged me during the parade. It was very gratifying to have their support in any way.
表情はどんなものでも大丈夫だと思います。少なくとも私の代には笑顔の方を気持ち悪いという生徒はいませんでした。ノリノリの方は元気が貰えてパレード中励みになることも多かったです。どんな形であれ応援していただけているのはすごく有難いことでした。

A：We were reading Hibike Euphonium. Not all of the club members read it, but I think many of them read it in the morning during reading time.
It was a great honor to be featured as a model high school.
響けユーフォニアムは読んでおりました。部員全員が読んでいたということはありませんが朝読書の時間などに読んでた生徒は多かったと思います。
モデル高として取り上げていただいたのはすごく光栄でした。

A：The seniors who treated me well were the 112th DM, senior horn player. The guys I was close with in my class were the slightly thicker TP, the taller flute player, the only euphonium player in my class, the thicker horn player, and the tenor saxophonist.
I still remember the percussionist who was not in O-VILS and talked to me even after I quit the club after running away from practice. He was a person who could get along with anyone without prejudice.
良くしてくれた先輩は112のDM、ホルンの先輩です。同期で仲が良かったのはちょっと太めのTP、背が高いフルート、同期唯一のユーフォ、太めのホルン、テナサク の子でした。
練習逃げ出して部活辞めても話しかけてくれたオービルズに居ないパーカスの子は今でも印象に残ってます。誰にも偏見なく仲良く出来る子でした。
