One thing I want you to think about here is whether your soul will be happy when you achieve that "success" or not.
Is it not just the joy of your body, which is limited by time?
Is it the joy of your eternal soul?

自分の理想と重なる部分を見つけ出し、
それを模範に生きよう！ 」

自分が理想とする生き方と１００％合致する人がいれば、その人の生き方に憧れ真似ればいいのです。
しかし、人間は神さまではありません。
完全な人格の人はいｍせん。
必ずどこかに欠点を持っています。
しかし、「欠点があるから、参考にできない」と短絡的に結論付けてはいけません。
欠点を持つ一方で、見習うべき長所も持っているはずです。
他人の中にある見習うべき長所に集中しましょう！
そして、自分を理想の生き方に近づけるために、その長所を活用しましょう！
自分の理想と重なる部分を見つけ出し、それを模範に生きましょう！

If you find someone whose ideal way of life matches yours 100%, you can admire and emulate their way of life.
However, humans are not gods.
No one has a perfect personality.
Everyone has flaws somewhere.
However, you should not jump to the conclusion that "because they have flaws, I can't use them as a reference."
While they have flaws, they also have strengths that we can learn from.
Focus on the strengths in others that you can learn from!
Then use those strengths to bring yourself closer to your ideal way of life!
Find the parts of your ideal that overlap with your ideal and live by that example!

と誓おう！
そして、その誓いを指針に生きよう！ 」

「神さま」と言っても、信じる宗教などによって、受け止め方は様々なのでしょう。
ここでは、これまで教えられてきた神さまの教えや言葉を離れて考えてください。
あなたは、良心を通じて、自分をこの世に存在させてくれている神さまとつながっています。
心を静かにして、「どういう生き方が善いのか？」「どういう価値観で生きるべきなのか？」
自分の良心に問いかけ、良心の声を聴いてみてください。
繰り返し、繰り返し自問自答してみてください。
少なくとも「『損得勘定』で生きるべきではない」という答えが返ってくるはずです。
「『愛』『慈悲』『助け合い』を大切にすべき」という答えが返ってくるはずです。
そういう価値観で生きるべきなのです。
『神さまに恥じない生き方をする！』と誓いましょう！
そして、その誓いを指針に生きましょう！

Let us vow to "live in a way that will not shame God!"
And let us live with that vow as our guide!

Even when we say "God," there are many different ways of interpreting it depending on the religion we believe in.
For now, please think away from the teachings and words of God that you have been taught up until now.
Through your conscience, you are connected to God, who allows you to exist in this world.
Quiet your mind, ask yourself, "What is a good way to live?" and "What values should I live by?"
Listen to the voice of your conscience.
Ask yourself over and over again.
At the very least, you should get the answer that "we should not live by 'profit and loss calculations.'"
You should get the answer that "we should value 'love,' 'compassion,' and 'helping each other.'"
That is the value we should live by.
Let us vow to "live in a way that will not shame God!"
And let us live by that promise!
