「明日ありと 思う心の仇桜 夜半に嵐の 吹かぬものかは」
浄土真宗の開祖、親鸞が「得度を受けるのを明日にしよう」と
勧められた時の返事として詠んだと伝わる和歌です。
命が終わる日は今日かもしれません。
これを１００％否定することは誰にもできません。
確率はすごく低いかもしれません。
しかし、安心している、次の瞬間、事故に遭うかも知れないし、大災害がおこるかも知れません。
犯罪に巻き込まれるかも知れません。
かといって、不安に苛まれ、ビクビク生きても面白くありません。
江戸時代の曹洞宗の僧侶である良寛は、大地震のお見舞いに
「災難に逢う時節には災難に逢うがよく候
死ぬ時節には死ぬがよく候
これはこれ災難をのがるる妙法にて候」
との言葉を送っています。
いざとなれば運命とあきらめて受け入れるしかないのです。
でも、受け入れるにしても、後悔する可能性、無念に思う可能性はあります。
そうならないためには、それまでの時間を自分なりに精一杯生きてきていることです。
自分にできる範囲で、愛・慈悲に心を集中させて一瞬一瞬を大切に生きて
いきましょう！

Let's live our lives in pursuit of a way that we will have no regrets no matter when our lives end!
Let's focus our hearts on love and compassion and live every moment!

The thought that the cherry blossom viewing can be postponed until tomorrow is the enemy. A strong wind may blow in the middle of the night and scatter the cherry blossoms.
This is a waka poem that is said to have been written by Shinran, the founder of the Jodo Shinshu sect, in response to the suggestion to "wait until tomorrow to receive ordination."
The day your life ends could be today.
No one can 100% deny this.
The probability may be very low.
However, the next moment you feel at ease, you could have an accident or a major disaster.
You could even become involved in a crime.
But living in fear and plagued by anxiety is no fun.
Ryokan, a Soto sect priest from the Edo period, sent the following words in sympathy to those affected by the great earthquake:
"When it is time to encounter disaster, it is good to encounter disaster. When it is time to die, it is good to die. This is a wonderful way to avoid disaster."
When it comes down to it, all you can do is accept it as fate and accept it.
But even if you accept it, there is a possibility that you will regret it or feel regretful.
To avoid this, you need to have lived your life to the fullest in your own way up until that point.
Focus your heart on love and compassion to the best of your ability and cherish every moment!

残念ながら、明確には、わからないようになっています。
自信をもって「こうだ！」ということは、誰にもできません。
でも、全く目標がわからないわけでもありません。
自分が何となく好感を持つこと、なんとなく大切だと感じること
がヒントなのです。
魂がヒントを与える方法なのです。
苦労はあってもやりたいと感じることがヒントなのです。
魂は、そういう形で導こうとしているのです。
良心の声に従いましょう！
