Pine Lakes bred 11s Fishing Camping in Indiana
The Cassidy Motel and RV Park provides a good place to stay while fishing at local lakes. Pine Lake is the largest lake, with five smaller lake surrounding the larger one. Visitors must have an Indian fishing license, and there are several bait and tackle shops in the area to take care of their fishing needs.
The Cassidy Motel has an RV park next door. It has 20 RV sites, with water, sewer and electric available, and 50amp connections. There is a dump station on site. The campground is just off the Indiana Turnpike, and on the edge of LaPorte, and convenient to the lakes in the area.
La Porte, IN 46350Potato Creek State Park is about 20 miles from Pine Lake, but has a 300acre lake of its own called Worster Lake. The park is very popular and 287campsites can fill up in summer quickly. There are also 17 cabins, which are two or threebedroom structures. There are also primitive tent camping areas for groups. The campsites have full hookupswater, sewer and electricity. There are bathrooms and showers, and a fish cleaning station.
There are old growth forests, wetlands, and many opportunities to view wildlife. There are also ample fishing opportunities at the park.

For a different kind of fishing experience, visitors might consider Indiana Dunes State Park, which is 10 miles from Pine Lake and is on the shores of Lake Michigan. There three miles of lake shore inside the park, as well as wet lands and forested areas.

Fishing is available at all times as long as visitors have an Indiana fishing license. There are boat rentals available, as well as fishing equipment at the park. Reservations are recommended for the 140 campsites that have full hookups. There are two bathhouses with restrooms, as well as a pavilion.
