I would like to write about what I did today. In the morning, I had a lecture about California politics. It was very interesting because I knew nothing about California’s local government and law policies. In the afternoon I played a card game with some of the FGL member then went to see a baseball game. The baseball game was Anaheim Angeles vs. White Sox Chicago. Angeles won 6-0 and totally won a victory. It would have not been as fun if the Angeles have lost so I was really happy. After the game we went to Krispy Kreme Donught and then visited a friend’s house. Then, we went to a small cute café and dinned at around midnight. We came back to our dorms at about 2 am and went to sleep. I had a wonderful time today!
I would like to explain the 2 good points and 1 bad point about the Supreme Court. First, I thought the name “the bar” was unique. I did not know that the exam to be a judge is called “the bar test”. I like the small humor they have in such a serious place. Second, I thought the jury system was more definite than Japan’s jury system. I was also surprised that when I observed the court cases, everyone in the jury seat was full and they were mostly paying close attention to the case. The judge who explained the Supreme Court system was saying that people think being a jury is an important “duty” as an citizen of California. It was neat to find out that people actually thought that way and was taking in part of the court cases. Finally, the bad part of the Supreme Court system was that the check of the security was strict about sleeping audience. I thought that they should go a little easier to everyone sleeping.
土曜日にしたいことはいろいろあります。１つの候補は普通にリーダースチョイスで自由に過ごすことです。２つ目はこのFGLのメンバーで綺麗な海に行って思いっきり浜辺で遊ぶことです。そして３つ目は一番したいことなんですが、このメンバーでユニバーサルスタジオに行きたいです。無茶なお願いだということは十分承知していますが、日本のユニバーサルスタジオは大阪にあって行きにくいことと、絶対にロサンゼルスのユニバーサルスタジオは迫力満点で面白いと思います。もうFGLのプログラムも終盤に近付いてきていて、確実にディズニーランドの時よりも皆と仲良くなれたので、より楽しめると思いました。バスを手配したりとたくさん難しいこと思いますが、ぜひ検討していただけたらと思って一応書いてみました。
