KH0/JA0RQV will be on the air in late October

I will QRV from Saipan Island as KH0/JA0RQV between 25th and 27th October 2024. Holiday style.  I will accompany with JA0JHQ Nob who will QRV as AH0CO for CQ WW SSB.

A35JP QRV再開しました。これが最後の運用です

2022年8月2日から8月20日、事情により緊急一時帰国し長野市内の自宅に帰っておりましたが、8月22日にトンガに戻り8月25日から細々とオンエア再開しました。平日は仕事が終わって夕食後の当地PM8頃から1時間程度、週末は暇な時に出ています。いつものことですが当地の午前中はどのバンドも何にも聞こえません。

2012年にトンガから初めてA35JPをオンエアしたころは、まだFT8も無くCWとSSBで世界中から怒濤のパイルアップを捌くのが楽しかったものですが、ここ数年はCWやSSBでCQを出しても全く応答が無く、最近はほとんどFT8/FT4になってしまいました。これはこれでいつまでもパイルアップが続いて楽しいし、飲み物片手にやれるので疲れなくて良いのですが。。。

今回の運用は9月末までの予定です。これが私のA35JPの最後の運用になると思います。この10年間、トンガにある5つのIOTA全てから運用できましたので悔いはありません。私のハム人生において大変に幸運で大切な思い出を作ることができました。トンガという国とこの国の人たちが大好きになりました。これからも何らかの形でこの国の人達のためになることが出来たら、と思っています。

残すところあと1ヶ月程ですが、どうかA35JPの最終運用、未交信の局は呼んで下さい。交信済の方は見守って下さい。

A35JP will temporarily QRT 緊急一時帰国

A35JP will temporarily QRT 

I will have to temporarily return to JA due to my family's critical situation in hospital. I will QRT between 3rd August and 22nd August 2022.

A35JP start on-the-air 

I safely returned to capital Nuku'alofa in Tongatapu Is from Niuatoputapu Is (OC-191) on 21st July, and resume QRV as A35JP from Tongatapu Is (OC-049) from 22nd July. QRV will continue until the end of September 2022. See you on the air!!

Activation of OC-191 and OC-123 canceled 

I am so sorry but I have to annouce that my original plan to activate both Niuatoputapu Is (OC-191) in July and Niuafo'ou Is (OC-123) in August will be canceled due to technical problems.

I will try to continue to be active as A35JP from Capital Nuku'alofa in Tongatapu Is (OC-049) from 24th July to end of September 2022.

Flight to Niuatoputapu Is. 

I will fly to Niuatoputapu Is. (OC-191) on 12th July. Hopefuly, flight will be ok as scheduled. If I can land on OC-191, I will try to QRV for a few days between 14th and 20th July from there by battery (20-50w output) . A35JP/P means OC-191 during this period.
