初めまして! Misaki Recordsです。
Today, I would like to introduce you to Tateishi area, a scenic place located in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, where you can see spectacular views of the sea and sky. A perfect place to kick off 2026!
2026年の始動にバッチリ！絶景を望めるスポット、神奈川県横須賀市にある「立石」エリアをご紹介します。
I visited the area on January 3rd, 2026, to get a good start this year.
2026年1月3日にそのエリアに行ってきました。
Wow! Under super blue sky, Mount Fuji
and the Tateishi rock appeared - clear.
This view took my breath away. 
爽やかな青空の下、正面奥にくっきりと「富士山」の姿、左手前に大きな岩「立石」が見えました。息を吞むほどの絶景。
It is said that during the Edo period, the ukiyo-e artist Utagawa Hiroshige drew a picture inspired by the view from this place. Across generations, people have always been enchanted by the same scenery.
江戸時代には浮世絵師の歌川広重がここから見た景色を作品にした、と言われています。いつの時代も人々はこの美しい景色に魅了されるのですね。
On this clear day, I could see Oshima Island, famous for its camellia oil
, as well as Shimoda City in the Izu area. It was such a delightful surprise. 
椿オイルで有名な「大島」や「伊豆の下田」もハッキリと見られました！嬉しい。
Many people were in the prefectural Tateishi parking area, enjoying the stunning view and taking pictures.
There are popular restaurants nearby, including "Restaurant Don" and "Marlowe". 
県立立石駐車場周辺は人々で賑わっていました。美しい景色を眺めたり、写真を撮ったり...思い思いにこの場所を満喫していました。ちなみに、周辺には「レストラン Don」や「マーロウ」といった人気店もありますよ！
I took a walk around the Tateishi Park. Because it was winter
, most of benches were empty. It felt like a hidden place.
さて、駐車場を離れ、立石公園を散策してみました。冬場のためか、園内のベンチはほぼ空席。穴場でした。
The palm tree
and Sagami Bay made a beautiful combination. It felt tropical.
アフリカ大陸西部原産のカナリーヤシと相模湾のコラボレーション。Yeah、ここは1年中、南国気分。
I recommend this place! The parking lot is free, and Tateishi area is one of scenic spots in Kanagawa.
オススメの場所です。「県立立石駐車場」はなんと無料駐車場！そして、立石公園は神奈川県内有数の百景スポットです。
When you visit to Yokosuka City, this is definitely a place worth visiting.
せっかく横須賀市を訪れたのなら、一度は立ち寄ってみたい場所です。

This post is my first time. I was focused on writing that I kept seeing The Tateishi rock in my mind, even after I looked away from my computer screen. Haha. It was a nice memory now.
ブログ初投稿回でした。作成に夢中になっていた為か、しばらくはPCから目を離しても、常に「秋谷の立石」が残像として見えるようになりました。笑 これもまた、良い思い出だねぇ...。
