Ikebukuro is also one of famous city center. There are many popular spots in the area, including the indoor theme park and aquarium of Ikebukuro’s landmark, Sunshine City, the Seibu and Tobu department stores, consumer electronic superstores, and shopping facilities directly connected to the train station. Ikebukuro is also a dining district with famous ramen shops and international gourmet restaurants. Additionally, there are many cultural institutions including Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre, and various art-related events are held in the area all year round. There are various anime-related places as well, which breed a culture that is unique to Ikebukuro.
Also in Ikebukuro there is our favorite izakaya call "Toriton". Usually we go to here on Friday after school. They serve yummy food and drinks. Stuffs are really nice and friendly. We hang out here all the time, just chill and drinking, and sometime bring board game and play there. We are having fun so many time in this izakaya!
