On Jan 31, The book store"富貴堂" which is located in the heart of my town has closed down their business.
1月31日に街の中心部にある本屋さん「富貴堂」が店じまいしてしまいました。
It's a shame because this was Probably the only book store where I was able to purchase foreign books in Asahikawa.
僕にとっては大変残念です。この本屋さんは旭川で洋書が買える唯一の(おそらく)本屋だったので…
Before the book store closed down I decided to buy a bunch of books.,
そこで、店じまいする前に一度に洋書を大人買いしました、笑。

This is the first time I've ever bought this magazine. There are a lot of beautiful photos in it.
It's fun just to flip through the pages with photos even if I can't understand the articles in the magazine. xD
この雑誌初めて買ったんですが、綺麗な写真がたくさん使われていますね。たとえ記事の内容が理解できなくても、写真をパラパラめくるだけでも楽しいです、笑。

It cost more than I thought.
思ったより高くついたなぁ、汗。
But at least for a few months I won't have to buy any new books.
でも少なくとも、2,3ヶ月は新しい洋書買わなくていいでしょう。
Besides, I regard Reading foreign books as kind of a investment.
それに、洋書を読むことは一種の投資のようなものだと考えているんです。
I seriously believe that the money I spend on these books will later be tenfold.
Honestly, It's like the more I spend on educational material the more money seems to come my way.
本に費やしたお金は後で10倍から20倍いや、それ以上になって返ってくると根拠なく、でもどこかある意味真剣に信じています。
Indeed, strangely enough, the more money I spend on educational stuff, the more money is returned to me in some ways.
実際不思議な事に、勉強や教育的な事にお金を使えば使うほど、どこからしかお金が入ってくるんですよ。
Well, It could just be me studying and doing my own thing instead of spending time and money going shopping, going out to eat, going for a drive or on a trip and so forth. xD
まあ、好きなことや勉強に熱中してショッピングやレストラン行ったり、ドライブや旅行に充てるお金や時間がただ無いだけかもしれないけど。
A-ha! And then I thought!
あっ。たったいまこの考えがひらめきました！
Even when I gave up on wanting to go somewhere, I realized I already arrived where I really wanted to be.
(you see, enjoy-ourselves stuff is go+ something. It's interesting, isnt' it?)
何かを求めたり何処かに行きたがるのをやめると、本当に行きたくてやまないところに着く。
(余暇を楽しむ事の多くがgo+～なのは面白いですね、笑。)
