Tell me about making movies/music? 誰か教えてくれませんか？

I'd like to more learn about editing movies or home recording/mixing/mastering skills for my music videos.

Is there anyone who knows well about those kinds of things?
I mean, some beginner to intermediate level skills, not professional ones.

Is there anyone making/recording music by using DAW softwares on PC or iPad's or iPhone's apps?

I purchased iPad's apps GarageBand, Cubasis and Audiobus recently. Are there any recommended combinations?

Is it possible that I make a vocal/guitar-less backing(karaoke) track out of music CDs?

I would appreciate it if someone told me those things.
